Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company aims to enhance the Exports through Facilitation, Technology up-gradation, skills Development & Marketing / Branding.
We are looking for qualified and experienced Pakistani nationals for the following Karachi based positions.
Manager Research & Development (1 Position)
A dynamic and experienced professional fulfilling the following criteria:
At least M.Sc in Economics (Preferably in Business Economics), Master in Business Administration from a reputed university recognized by HEC.
Excellent verbal and written communication and good presentation skills.
Logical and analytical capability to synthesis and conduct impact assessment and market research.
Ability to perform multitasks and set priorities, understanding of and enthusiasm for research and development.
5-10 years experience in Research and Development.
Age required between 30-40 years.
The incumbent will be responsible to:
Translate business strategy and opportunities into R&D strategy and priorities
Assesses external market environment related to Gems & Jewellery and prepare recommendations accordingly.
Leads day-to-day R&D programs, including specifications development, materials development, and sub-component sourcing activities.
Develop research database for dissemination among various departments and other stake holders.
Lead research & Development programs of the company with the assistance of other departments/ projects.
To spear head development of annual reports, newsletters, periodicals and other publications.
