Punjab Healthcare Commission and Independent regulatory body has been established under the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) Act 2010 to ensure provision of quality health services within Punjab. The commission was inaugurated on the 27th October 2011 with the appointment of Board of Commissioners.
PHC is looking for the senior management staff and is looking for a Chief Operating Officer, who will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and undertake the following activities:
· Facilitate the CEO in the development, governance and management of the Commission
· Provide support, strategic advice and management to the ECO across all aspects of the commission’s activities and ensure that all required decision making, control, delivery and development systems are in place
· Focal person for financial and corporate governance
Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualification
· Masters Degree in Management, Business, Health Management/ Public Health or equivalent from reputable institutions.
· Preference will be given to a Medical Graduate with degree in any of the above fields.
· Additional higher qualifications in Management and or clinical subjects will be a plus.
Experience
· The successful candidate will have total 12 years experience of working at senior management level where he must have held high responsibility positions.
· Preference will be given to candidates with experience of heading a large organization as CEO/ COO for at least 2 years.
· Previous experience of working in the healthcare field will be a plus.
The term of contract will be initially 1 year which will be extendable on performance assessments in line with the rules and regulations of PHC.
