The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Islamabad is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following vacancy.
Training Assistant M/F
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the national training office, yearly planning of training courses according to training course according to training policy.
Making arrangements (administration, logistics) for planned courses.
Liaise with stakeholders such as travel desk (Welcome Service), training venues, transport firms, etc.
Following up and record keeping (including financial, according to rules and regulations).
To co-animate courses when necessary and appropriate.
To conduct course evaluations and report writing.
Facilitating training needs assessment processes.
Requirements:
University degree from a recognized University, preferably in social science or the humanities, or equivalent.
1 to 2 year’s work experience in a similar field; ICRC / Red Cross Red Crescent Movement experience an asset.
Experience / Education as trainer an asset.
Fluent in written and spoken English, Urdu; other national languages an asset.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Interest in humanities and international affairs.
Personal commitment to improve knowledge and skills.
Available for extended travel in the country and the region.
