A diplomatic Mission is seeking individuals for the following positions for its Karachi office.
Information assistant: A Bachelors Degree (fourteen years of education) in Journalism, international relations, political science, social sciences (languages, English, art and literature, etc), or economics is required. Three years of experience in public relations, broadcast or print media with significant professional writing and editing experience is required. Must e fluent in English and Urdu, Incumbent must have in-depth knowledge of media writing. Editing and production. Knowledge of media, print and broadcast in Karachi and sindh and Baluchistan Provinces is required.
Information assistant (Social Media/Webmaster):
A Bachelors Degree (Fourteen years of education) in information technology, computer science, public relations, journalism, marketing, graphic design management, multimedia, or human resources is required. Three years of progressively responsible experience in public relations, management, marketing, graphic design, information technology, or media is required. Must be proficient in English and Urdu, Incumbent must have a broad and strong knowledge of many information technologies, including basic webpage development, photo audio, & Video editing. Indepth knowledge of social media networks & other info-sharing sites, such as Facebook, Twitter You Tube, & Flicker. Must be detail oriented see through projects, and learn basic CMS website maintenance. Proficiency in MS Office is required.
