Medical Director & Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs
In the dual role of Medical Director and Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs, the incumbent will serve as an advocate for the provision of exemplary medical care in association with the education and research program of the University.
As a senior member of the management and Chair of the Joint Staff Committee, he/she will play a key liaison role between the University Hospital and the Faculty of Health Sciences in matters pertaining to clinical quality assurance, credentialing, clinical management, patient safety, risk management and Program planning. He / She will be involved in strategic decision making and in the institution’s overall organizational development. It is expected that the incumbent will continue his/her participation in relevant clinical activities.
The appointee will report both to the Regional CEO Health Services, Asia for a wide variety of key issues relating to the clinical departments, and to the Dean, Medical College on academic matters.
Candidates should have an FCPS, American Board certification, Royal College Fellowship or equivalent qualification in any clinical specialty, along with extensive managerial and clinical experience at a senior level in a teaching hospital. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive leadership style are essential.
