Save the Children Seeks the following qualified and experienced individuals for a four years “Program for establishing partnership and stability (PEPAS)” through integrated Development in Battagram District funded by the Government of the Netherlands. Following are minimum qualifications for the positions along with illustrative responsibilities and required experience.
Position; Education Innovation Specialist (01)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible for innovative input in all Save the Children Battagram district education sector programs. She/he will provide professional technical inputs to develop and implement all education programs funded by different donors like GON, Au-said and CIDA.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Master's Degree in Social Science and/or Education from HEC recognized University; An additional degree in educational research is preferred;
At least 8 years of project management experience in development sector;
At least 5 years of experience in working in Education Sector;
Minimum 2 years experience in research based program;
Position: Early Childhood Care & Education Specialist (o1)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible to technically manage and supervise of ECCE activities under PEPAS program. S/he will provide professional technical inputs to implement both PRPAS and ECCE activities funded by GON.
Required Qualification & Experience:
A Master degree with 10 years of total experience with having minimum 4-5 years of ECCE/sector experience.
Technical skills in one of the following areas: ECCE development, teacher education, school health and nutrition, child development.
Position: Gender and Child Protection Specialist (01)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible for providing professional technical support and inputs to develop child protection program and ensure the quality delivery of gender and CP program implemented in Battagram funded by different donors like GON.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Master's Degree in Social Science from HEC recognized University
At least 10 years of experience in development sector;
At least 4-5 years of experience in gender and child protection sector;
A very good understanding of at least of key technical areas of CP programming and a working knowledge of the other sectors that include education, livelihoods and health.
Position: MIS Coordinator (01)
Location: Battagram
The Incumbent will be responsible to management Battagram Sub-office MIS System including designing, testing and implementing user friendly practices of data management using advanced software technology.
Required Qualification & Experience:
MBA (MIS) / M.Sc. (MIS) / MBIT / MBA (IT) / MIT with MBA / MCS with MBA / equivalent from HEC recognized university with at least four years demonstrable relevant experience of working as MIS Manager / Coordinator / Specialist and proficiency of programming in Microsoft software plate form (.NET) as well as Windows based environments and applications.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience of web database development using SQL, ASP.NET or SharePoint Server.
Position: Training Specialist (01)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible for providing professional technical support and inputs to develop, plan, implement & devaluate training programs funded by different donors like GON.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Master's Degree in Social Science from HEC recognized University
At least 10 years of experience in development sector;
At least 6 years of experience in Training Sector;
Position: Environment and NRM Specialist (01)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible for providing professional technical support and inputs to develop and implement environment & NRM interventions included in various programs funded by different donors Like GON.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Master's Degree in Natural Resource Mgt, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Livestock or Forestry from HEC recognized University
At least 10 years of experience in development sector;
At least 6 years of experience in working in Environment & NRM Sector;
Good understanding of the environment and NRM issues & scope of work in context of rural Pakistan
Practical experience of design, implementation & monitoring of E& NRM projects.
Position: Livelihoods Specialist (01)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible for providing professional technical support and inputs to develop and implement sustainable livelihoods programs funded by different donors like GON.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Master's Degree in Social Science from HEC recognized University
At least 10 years of experience in development sector;
At least 6 years of experience in working in livelihoods Sector;
Position: M&E Manager (01)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible to organize all monitoring or information streams into one project picture and lead the development for overall project strategy for aggregating, analyzing and using information at Battagram sub office. Choose and apply a systematic database approach to improving project and activities at all levels.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Master's Degree from HEC recognized University
At least 10 years of experience in development sector;
At least 5-7years experience in monitoring and evaluation of development programs especially related to education and livelihood;
Position: Sr. M&E Officer (02)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible to monitor and collect project information and apply a systematic database approach to improving project and activities at all levels.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Master's Degree from HEC recognized University;
At least 3-4 years experience in monitoring and evaluation of development programs especially related to education and livelihood;
Position: Security Coordinator (01)
Location: Battagram
The incumbent will be responsible to collect and analyze security situation on daily basis in district Battagram and sharing with the senior management timely.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
Demonstrated 5 years of overall experience; and a minimum of 3 years specific development sector experience.
Position: Advocacy, Communication & Documentation Coordinator (01)
Location: Battagram
As a coordinator of advocacy, Communications & Documentation, she/he will responsible for implementation of internal/external communication and advocacy initiatives of the Battagram programs. Capacity building of project implementation teams and partner staff, media relations as per SCI standards and the organization’s media policy assisting in conceiving and developing communication material both print and electronic on project results etc.
Required Qualification & Experience:
Masters degree in social sciences preferably in mass communications with a minimum of 04-5 years experience in advocacy, communication, publicity and media work.
Experience in dealing with media and effective liaison experience with external organizations
Excellent communication skills; written and oral; able to write a high quality press release
