SENIOR PETROLEUM ENGINEER / PETROLEUM ENGINEER-KARACHI BASED
Support Base Management team to manage the base production, understand and implement field depletion plan, develop technical forecast and measure against it. Monitor reservoir performance; evaluate reservoir, wells and facilities’ performance in an integrated manner to understand the constraints and levers to drive maximum value.

    Develop in-year production forecast of the assigned fields, which represent the best technical estimates of delivery that is consistent with outer years. Up-date Installed Production Capacity on monthly basis.
    Take Short-term actions to carry out strategies and measure performance in line with the field depletion plan, its underlying assumptions, risks and uncertainties.
    Create and update well performance models (Prosper), pressure transient analysis (Saphire) to identify new well works opportunities for rate and reserve increment.
    Develop and up-date system optimization models to identify bottlenecks and compression requirements (GAP / Piper).
    Manage integrity of assigned Wells Stock in line with Well Integrity Management System.
    Identify wells with artificial lift requirements. Design, monitor and trouble shoot various artificial lifts systems including de-liquification of gas wells with technologies like coiled tubing jet pump, foam injection through capillary tubing, plunger lift, ESP, etc.
    Identify workover opportunities; develop workover statement of requirements and AFE. Provide input to Drilling team in designing the workover program to achieve workover objectives.
    Develop bespoke annual surveillance plan that must track performance relative to forecast and to investigate risks, identify and evaluate opportunities.
    Interact with cross-functional teams to optimize field performance, provide input in preparing field development and depletion plans.

Qualification & Experience
    Masters or Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering.
    At least 6 to 10 years of Petroleum Engineering experience in an E&P company.
    Experience in producing tight gas or low permeability gas reservoir is preferred.
    Design experience of hydraulic fracture treatment will have an added advantage.
    Proficiency in PC based Petroleum Engineering software like Prosper, Gap, MBal, ‘Saphire’ and Piper.
